My Teacher Example: Mouse

This was a very new experience with me and 3D printing. I had a love and hate relationship when doing it. When I do any 3D modeling on the computer, I seem to get nausea or dizziness. But with a fan and a tablet, it kept that level really low. I believe I did this in about a day because I thought it was due the next day, but it was actually due sometime before or during spring break. 

 

For the thinking process, I was thinking about the word "small" and had my thoughts about my cartoony self-portrait from my character design class into consideration. After my research on some animals from different culture, I chose to create a mouse. I'm a very tiny person and kind like a mouse. According to what I found about mice, they are usually hard-working, cautious, timid and gentle. They also value family the most which is why you might see a bunch of mice in one are.

I have to create a proposal for my project so here is half of what I wrote for my proposal. It will explain how a mouse and I are similar in some ways with the traits explained in the last paragraph:

 

       "But with these traits, it’s beneficial for me because when working as a teacher or an artist, I have to be kind, gentle, and flexible with my students, my clients, and my artworks, and I have to cautious with what I put on my work and what am I doing around my working space. I’m also timid but sometimes, I have to be on the spot in order to progress in what I must do just like a mouse. So, that why I chose to create a mouse; we are tiny but we worked hard to achieve our goals and get along with other people."
