Animation

"A Bunny's Stroll"

Reflection:

Before starting this project, I had a dislike for doing animation because the amount of work that you have to do to animate things. I love watching animated movies, but not making them. But this time, I have to for this project and learn that there are many ways to do it such as the cutout stop motion that I had done in the video above.

For creating the story, I just want a fun small clip with a bunny and an "alien" weasel-like creature that I created back in high school. I won't spoil the story, but that was my thought-process.

For the materials used and the filming, I did a ton of paper cutouts which was the most time-consuming of all and even I have to create more during filming the animation. Also, taking pictures was surprisingly easy. I just use a ruler with a heavy binder to hold it down on my desk while the scenes are below the table top with another lower table to hold it in place. Both the backdrops and camera were taped to their designed grounds (aka table and ruler). It was a lot of work but at the end it was satisfying. Enjoy the video.

Also at the end, I need to clean up my workspace because it's a mess again!
